Wreath Pendant Workshop
Doddington Hall
30 November 2024 at 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
£75As a floral artist, Rachel Petheram of Catkin Flowers, grows flowers and natural materials to help express her relationship with nature and the seasons. Rachel loves to see how other artists work with nature and is delighted to collaborate with local jeweller Jessica Collin from Cast & Found on another wonderful workshop.
You’re invited to Rachel’s studio in the Kitchen Garden at Doddington Hall where you will have the opportunity to hand stamp and personalise a solid sterling silver wreath pendant on a silver curb chain. A wreath pendant is a beautiful representation of the circle of the seasons and this is a lovely opportunity to create a thoughtful gift or personal keepsake by hand stamping a word or short phrase that has meaning and resonance for you, or for a special recipient. Perhaps you have had a meaningful year and there is a word or phrase that has importance, or a mantra that has helped you. Perhaps you are part of Rachel’s flower woo community and there is a word from the flowers that has stuck with you. Perhaps there is a word or phrase you want to give to someone you love. This is a beautiful way of keeping that meaningful word or phrase close to you, to keep you inspired as the wheel turns again.
You will also add an extra meaningful detail with a nature inspired silver pendant charm.
Rachel and Jessica will ply you with hot drinks, sweet treats and creative company while you work. This is a short, relaxed workshop that would be great to do with friends or family, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the festive offerings at Doddington Hall. You can find out about what’s on at the Hall in the festive period here.
