Join one of our fun family craft sessions to immerse yourselves in the beauty of nature and encourage your little ones to develop a sense of awe and wonder for the natural world. Experience the joy of outdoor exploration and creative expression together as a family, surrounded by the Wilder Doddington landscape.
NATURE MOBILE WORKSHOP
Wednesday 28 August, 10am-12pm or 2-4pm
Become a wilder detective! Come and join the Wilder team on a scavenger hunt to gather natural materials in the Doddington parkland. Hear the stories of the ancient trees and discover secret paths. As you explore the Wilder Doddington landscape, you’ll gather a range of natural materials to create your very own nature mobile.
After the walk, you’ll head back to the Wagon Shed, where your little ones can transform their treasures into a beautiful nature mobile using string and a stick frame.
This hands-on workshop will help children connect with nature, enhance observational skills and express their creativity as they craft their mobiles before taking home their finished pieces.
A fun activity for children aged 3-11 years, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Wagon Shed 10 minutes before the start of the session.

Hear the stories of the ancient trees and discover secret paths. As you explore, you’ll gather natural treasures to use in our nature-inspired weaving craft.
After the walk, you’ll head back to the Wagon Shed. Here, your little ones will receive a loom board and guided instruction from our friendly team. They’ll learn how to weave their collected treasures into a beautiful, unique creation.
This craft workshop is a fun way to experience nature as a family and can help children enhance observational skills and let their creativity flow before taking home their finished pieces.
