AUTUMN COLLAGE CRAFT

Monday 21 October, 10am-12pm or 1-3pm

Become a wilder detective! Come and join the Wilder team on a scavenger hunt to gather natural materials in the Doddington Estate parkland. Hear the stories of the ancient trees and discover secret paths. As you explore, you’ll gather autumn leaves to use in our nature-inspired autumn collage craft.

After the walk, you’ll head back to the Wagon Shed and use your leaves to create colourful autumnal collages.

This craft workshop is a fun way to experience nature as a family and can help children enhance observational skills and let their creativity flow before taking home their finished pieces.

A fun activity for children aged 3-11 years, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Wagon Shed 10 minutes before the start of the session.

After the walk, you’ll head back to the Wagon Shed where you will use the natural materials you collected to create some fun creatures. Will you make an acorn animal, a stick spider or something else? You could even weave a spooky spider web with twigs and string too.
