Join Imogen Wilde at Whisby Nature Park for an educational workshop on harvestmen.

The Lincolnshire Naturalists’ Union and Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust (Lincoln Area Group) in partnership are running workshops on a variety of subjects at Whisby Nature Park again this year, aimed at those interested in expanding their knowledge of particular groups.

This month will focus on harvestmen, led by Imogen Wilde. Harvestmen are a common and widespread group of long-legged invertebrates and about 25 species live in the UK. They are arachnids, related to spiders and scorpions.

Refreshments included. The workshop is free of charge but booking is essential – please contact Richard Davidson.

The aim is not to turn people into experts in an afternoon, but to cascade knowledge and enthusiasm for particular subjects so that participants can go away better equipped to follow them up on their own.
