The extreme levels of poverty in the Victorian era meant that thriftiness became essential. Although born out of necessity, their lessons can still teach us a lot about how to reuse and recycle today.

Inspired by NKDC’s new Food Waste Recycling initiative, our trail will focus on how the Victorian’s made the most of every element of their food to make some delicious and nutritious dishes.
