It’s been nearly 10 years since the rail bridge project so it’s time for it to get a haircut!  Gorse and broom has really taken off on the slopes of the steps going over the railway line and needs to be cut back and coppiced.  Taking out these hardy pioneer species  will give the planted trees more space to grow, in the area we coppiced a few years ago we had a small colony of bee orchids pop up so who knows what plants are hiding in the shade waiting for the sun!
