You will be using the traditional Chippy wrapping paper ‘Newsprint’ to cut out your stencil which then will be used under your screen to print your image. Printing onto an array of printmaking papers, to explore the variety the discipline has to offer for this technique. From Monochrome to multi colour prints, there will be no limit!

Printmaking couldn’t be without paper! The vast majority the suppliers now have on offer for the technique is incredible. From the 100% 350gsm cotton papers to the Japanese thin Kawanaka – 29gsm. We will explore a few to get a true feel of which paper leads itself to Screen Printing, along with discussing why each print technique has its own paper.

You will leave the session with lots of prints to take home!
