The Spires and Steeples walk is a yearly curtain raiser for the walking festival and a worthy opening to a fortnight of walks.

This year the walk will leave at 8:30am from Castle Square in Lincoln, (giving Sleaford walkers plenty of time to walk up from the train station). From there we set off through the very best walking in the area, all the way down to the historic town of Sleaford.

Carefully consider your own physical capacity to complete this challenging walk, wear suitable clothing and footwear, bring plenty of fluids to stay hydrated, food to keep you going and check the weather! You embark upon this walk at your own risk.

We will support the walk with our first aid trained ranger team and have transport on hand for unforeseen circumstances.
