The festival kicks off with a bang: this marathon length day hike heading south from the majestic Lincoln Cathedral to Sleaford Church taking in numerous village churches and picturesque countryside. The walk involves a good level of fitness as it’s 26 miles/ 42km and will take about 10 hours. It’s led by Richard Fish Outdoor Adventures, a qualified Mountain Leader and Hill Holt Wood Rangers and supported by a minibus to get you back to the start!
