‘King John – Was He the Worst English King?’ – Children’s Trail and Activities

Navigation House

7 August at 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

King John has an important local connection as he visited Sleaford Castle 810 years ago, just before he died. He’s commonly thought of as being the worst English king who ever ruled, but is that really the case?

Our children’s trail will explore the highs and lows of his reign, and give you the opportunity to decide for yourself. We’ll be asking you to place your vote at the end of your visit, so we can finally decide once and for all, whether King John was really the worst ever English king!
