The sinking of the Tirpitz on the 13th November 1944 concluded a four and a half year effort by the almost 400 aircraft from the RAF and the Fleet Air Arm to complete the mission.  The operation has to be one of the most contested hits in RAF history.

Dr Robert Owen, the official 617 Squadron Association Historian, and Richard James, XI(B) Association Historian, will come together to deliver two fascinating talks, all for the price of one!
