30 August at 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Herbert Ingram was born in 1811 in Boston and is today known as the father of pictorial journalism, believing that images were essential to communicating news and stories. He led a fascinating life and eventually became a champion of social reform and welfare, representing the constituents of Boston before his untimely end in a shipwreck in 1860.

Our children’s trail will explore the life of this incredible local man and give you the opportunity to create prints of your own to take home.
